Physical Exam Teaching Associates

About the Physical Exam Teaching Associate program

No medical or educational experience is required to become a Physical Exam Teaching Associate (PETA). The PETA program provides a unique opportunity for Aggie medical students to learn the head to toe physical exam in a non-threatening, standardized, nurturing and safe environment. PETAs teach medical students how to perform a physical exam using their own bodies as teaching tools (excluding any invasive exams) in a small group setting.
